Tomorrow I will share links to the best posts I read this week, a practice I'm trying to establish every Friday.
In the past seven days, however, I've traveled mostly to familiar and favorite blog outposts. Thus I haven't yet made a Blog Discovery of the Week. But give me time! I intend to get on the search first thing tomorrow and and I won't be back till I've found you a pearl.
Meanwhile, if anyone has read anything truly wonderful this week, don't keep it to yourself! Leave a comment. It might contain the exact word, or image or line that someone out there desperately needs to read.

So, these folks are out sailing, and BOOM! a volcano makes a new island in front of them.
Ok, no Boom, but they do get pictures, and there was a volcano, and there is a new island.
Congratulations on your book activity! I like your pictures too.
It's nice to meet you.
Cheers.
It wouldn't be proper to mention my latest post (new installment of the autobio), would it? No, I guess not.
Is that your garden in the photo? I like it. I wish I had a garden like it, or any garden at all.
I like the fact that you're going to be doing this -- I look forward to reading about all of your new discoveries.
And I love the photo -- it reminds me of my father-in-law, who loves chilis and has built up an extensive collection of hot sauces over the years!

What a fantastic idea, I look forward to your finds :)
snuggles on this rainy day,
xxx darlene
what a cool idea! i'm always up for some new links...
Love that photograph!
I think of everything I read this week I was most sated by this post:
"Of Women That Meddle In Physick and Surgery," by Charles Dawson
It's a toothsome read. Enjoy.
Zhoen: Wow. Thank you for taking me on that particular adventure.
rashenbo: Thank you and nice to meet you as well!
matt: I think your father-in-law and I would get along very well. I put hot sauce or "hot shot" pepper--which I was introduced to by Sky right here on the blog--on everything.
natalie: I'm so glad you did. I loved that post, as well as all the chapters of your bio.
darlene: It was actually a most perfect day here, but I love to snuggle anyway.
ruby: Come back tomorrow and tell me what you think!
sara: Today Ted told me that I had gone overboard with the red peppers. Which I tend to do--go overboard with anything I love. I was so happy to be able to tell him that "Sara doesn't think so. She liked my new photo of the peppers."
Thanks for the link!
I love the peppers!
kenju: They look a bit like weathered faces, don't they? Peppers with character.
That is a great photo Patry! I like all the others of your recent posts, too, so vibrant and interesting.
The look a bit like long strawberries. I love them on the background of weathered pink paint. I'll try to remember when I see a good blog post to pass it on. My mind is blank right now.
kerstin: That means a lot coming from one who takes such stunning photographs.
tara: The peppers keep proliferating!
colleen: I'm counting on you to come back next Friday with a good one! Thanks for the comment on my peppers.
chilli pepper is one of my favorites food in the world, I have been in Guatemala and I ate a chilli pepper called "chile patuano", it was so hot, and delicious, you should eat one!!!
Excellent, i like to taste chilly the last one I tasted was the wasabi on kyoto last week.
